Hi ,
Your posts are working a triple shift.
Get found. Make friends. Close the sale. All in one caption, before lunch.
No wonder they're exhausted. 💅
The accounts that stay booked give every post one job.
That's my Signature framework:
Calling in content finds new people, Schmoozing content warms up the ones already watching, and Make bank content turns them into buyers. This week I went digging through what's actually performing for business accounts on Instagram right now, across every niche, and built you one of each. Swap in your business, post all three, done.
This week's prompts
1. CALLING IN CONTENT
Title: The POV that makes strangers say "that's me"
Purpose: get seen by new people who have the exact problem you solve, and give them a reason to follow.
Best format: 10 second reel, text on screen, no talking required. Film yourself doing something ordinary (typing, packing an order, staring at your laptop) and let the text do the work.
Sample hook: "POV: you [the thing your dream client does every week] knowing [the frustrating outcome] is coming anyway."
Service: "POV: you open the shoebox of receipts knowing tax time is in three weeks."
Product: "POV: you buy another serum knowing your skin will do the exact same thing."
Sample caption: If this is your week, you're not doing it wrong. You've just been doing it the hard way. I help [who you help] get [the result] without [the pain]. Follow along, the easier way is coming this week.
CTA mechanism: a follow CTA with a promise of what's next.
Example: "Follow, because Thursday's post is the fix."
Why it works: POV hooks had the highest hit rate of any hook type for Instagram business content in the data I pulled this week, beating bold claims (the most used hook) 10.7% to 6.2%. One 10 second POV reel from an account with 331 followers passed 537,000 views. Relatable gets sent to friends, and her friends have the same problem, which makes them your best fit too.
2. SCHMOOZING CONTENT
Title: The time a client told me off (and was right)
Purpose: deepen trust with the people already following. Letting them watch you listen, change your mind and do better makes your expertise believable and makes you someone they want to work with.
Best format: storytime reel, talking to camera, 60 to 90 seconds. No fancy editing. Just you, the story and a decent light.
Sample hook: "I got told off by a [client or customer] this week. And [she or he] was right."
Service: "I got told off by a client this week for overcomplicating her plan. And she was right."
Product: "A customer told me off about our packaging this week. And she was right."
Sample caption: Storytime. [What happened, in two lines.] My first reaction was [your honest reaction]. Then I realised [what they taught you]. So here's what I'm changing: [the change]. This is the part nobody sees. The best changes in my business came from the people I work with.
CTA mechanism: a story swap in the comments. Reply to every single one, then move the best conversations into DMs.
Example: "Tell me the best thing a client or customer ever taught you. I'm replying to every one."
Why it works: this month, a business owner with 449 followers told the story of being "told off" by a client and pulled 26 comments on 8,325 views. That's about 15 times the comment rate of the 537,000 view POV reel above. Viral posts get watched. Stories get answered, and a conversation is where schmoozing actually happens. People trust the person who admits they got it wrong, far more than the one who never does.
3. MAKE BANK CONTENT
Title: The sales you're losing every [timeframe]
Purpose: turn warm followers into buyers. Lead with the transformation, then name what staying stuck is costing them in sales, clients or revenue (and what it costs them at home), then hand them your offer as the obvious next step.
Best format: carousel. Slide 1 is the hook, slide 2 paints the transformation, slide 3 names the money they're losing and when, slide 4 names what it costs them outside the business, slide 5 is your offer as the fix, the last slide is the invitation.
Sample hook: "You could be [transformation] by [timeframe]. Instead you're losing [sales, clients or revenue] every [timeframe] to [the pain]."
Service: "You could be booked out by Christmas. Instead you're losing clients every week to enquiries that sit unanswered until Friday."
Product: "Your bestseller could sell out by summer. Instead you're losing sales every day to shoppers who leave at checkout."
Sample caption: [Transformation] looks like [the specific after: a full calendar, a sold out drop, a month where the numbers finally add up]. Right now you're losing [sales, clients or revenue] every [timeframe] because [the pain]. And it doesn't stop at the bank account. It's [the life cost: the school pickups you miss chasing money that should already be in the bank]. [Your offer] fixes that: [what it is and what's included, in one line]. It's $[price]. If you're done losing [the thing], this is your next step. Comment [KEYWORD] and I'll send you [the fix].
CTA mechanism: name the fix, then make the invitation. A comment keyword that you answer with a DM.
Example: "Want to stop losing sales at checkout? Comment SOLD and I'll send you how [offer name] works."
Why it works: money you're losing hits harder than money you might make. In this month's search, lost money hooks took tiny accounts a long way: "Stop losing money to preventable disputes" reached 103,549 views from an account with 309 followers, and "The 5 to 6 thousand I didn't know I was losing every month" hit 23,890 views from 278 followers. The one hook about lost hours barely beat its own follower count. Lead with the after, name the leak, then show her what it's really costing her (hint: it's rarely just the money). Your offer stops being a pitch and becomes the obvious fix. Only use numbers and timeframes that are true for your customers. Real receipts sell. Made up ones get screenshotted.
Post Calling in by Tuesday, Schmoozing on Wednesday, and Make bank on Friday once your warmest people have seen the other two. Only got time for one? Make it the POV. Ten seconds, zero Canva spiral required.
Xx Lisa
P.S. I'm building something's bts for every one of you who's ever lost a whole Sunday to Canva. I'm not ready to share it yet but it's made for you if you want your content to be low-lift and low effort. 🤫
