Last week was rough here.

My four year old came down with something, then I did too.

Days blurred into tissues, panadol and daytime telly on repeat.

I wasn't doing much beyond keeping us both upright (or horizontal).

I didn't open my laptop once.

Didn't think about hooks, or captions, or what slide six should say.

Didn't think about Instagram at all, let alone mine.

And yet, every post went out. Mine and my clients'.

On schedule, on brand, without me lifting a finger.

That's when it landed properly.

I've never actually struggled to know what to post.

Neither do most of the coaches I work with.

Give them a voice note and they'll rattle off ten ideas without blinking.

The ideas were never the problem.

The problem is that ideas don't post themselves the week you need them to.

Someone has to sit down, write it, design it, schedule it, on a day you're not sick, not slammed, not staring down a deadline.

Most weeks, that day doesn't come, so it has to happen on a different day entirely, well before you need it.

You know what to post.

You've always known.

So why aren't you posting?

Last week there was no version of me sitting down to write a caption.

But there didn't need to be.

Everything that went out was written and queued weeks earlier, before I had any idea I'd need it. That's the only reason my account kept running while I didn't.

It's also the exact system behind something I've been building, called Consider It Posted.

A backlog, done in advance, so your content keeps going out on the weeks you can't get near it, the same way mine just did.

If you've got fifteen ideas sitting in your notes app and nothing's gone out in a fortnight, the ideas aren't the problem. The gap between having them and banking them ahead of time is.
