Be Open to Life
May 27, 2026 12:16 pm
Hi ,
It is almost the end of May. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone.
Insight Timer
I have some exciting news! I am now on Insight Timer. This is a meditation platform that has expanded to offer live and recorded yoga classes. You do need to have a free account. There is also a premium membership that provides even more opportunities.
My first two meditations are available.
- Yoga Nidra - Honor the Mother Within is a 12-minute Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that allows you to go through all five levels of awareness. It is sometimes called 'yoga sleep'. Many people use this meditation to help them get ready for sleep. Others use it as a meditation practice. BTW, I am playing the Tibetan sound bowl in this offering.
- Take a Walk With Me is a 16-minute mindful meditation walk. We walk together and I ask you questions and share my life and experiences with you. You will hear birds, cars, rustling of the wind as we walk through my neighborhood being mindful.
In addition, this Friday, May 29, from 1-2 pm EST, I will be offering my first live gentle, chair yoga class. This class will give you an opportunity to bring May to and end using a loving kindness meditation. I hope you consider joining me.
All of these offerings are free of charge, there is an option to leave a donation, follow me, and leave a review. Any and all are welcome!
Offerings
Many of you seem confused by the number of things I promote and offer. Yes, I do a lot of different things.
Why? Because I enjoy doing a lot of different things.
I enjoy sharing what brings me joy, hoping it will bring you joy, inspire you, open-up possibilities to you.
So much of my life, I felt I was living to meet societal expectations, to show a happy face, to be the person everyone expected me to be.
Well, I don't want to be that way any more. It is time we breakout of our shells and experience life.
When I was 5 or 6 years old, my mother had peonies (flowers). I thought I was doing the peonies a services by diligently going out every day and clearing the ants off of the plant. My mother kept wondering why her peonies were not blooming. When I finally confessed to what I was doing, she shared that the flowers needed the ants to feel safe so that they could bloom.
What do you need to feel safe and bloom?
In addition to Insight Timer, I also offer:
