Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a good Halloween! I know I did. We turned my car into a haunted library for a trunk or treat, and on Sunday night I followed Harry Potter and Tonks around with their friends as they overloaded their buckets with candy. I love watching them be kids. I can only hope they're not in a hurry to grow up.

Anyway, much exciting news in the publishing world.

First, one of my short stories released Monday!

The latest Salvage universe anthology includes my short story "Salvage Angel". A rotund bear-like pilot, the last of his kind, has applied to create a new kind of company in the Salvage System--one that rescues the hopeless out of ships disabled in battle. The application has garnered Harmon Tomerall's personal interest. Harmon finds the pilot's resources lacking and his business model a little puzzling. So Harmon has to ask, "Why?" The answer...well, you'll just have to read it for yourself.

Next up, Kevin Ikenberry's crowning achievement and the resolution to one of the greatest loose threads in Four Horsemen Universe- the search for Snowman!

It's also a personal milestone for me as a writer--for the first time ever, characters I created have been borrowed by another author. Kevin Ikenberry has honored me by including Bull and Company in a major way. I can only say I'm in awe of how he used them.

For all the fans of the Rise of the Peacemakers series, this is the book you've been waiting for. He ties together years of planning and probably a couple dozen books worth of build up. It's the great culmination of it all and it does not disappoint. Best yet, he leaves you begging for more.
