Your season might be in the hands of one end-of-the-game play during conference tournament time.

NBA veteran coach Vin Bhavnani put forward some of the best end-of-the-game plays he's seen.

Need 3

In this play, the offense forces the defense to make a choice is as to which of the two shooters they are going to have to leave open, as if they deny the first option, the second guard will be open after the screen from the 5 man.

Short Clock 3

Add to your list of possibilities to score with less than 2 seconds to go.

Watch the detail in how Bogdanovic sets the screen on this play - right after he sets the screen on Mitchell, he creates contact with his defender - shoulder to chest - and fakes going the opposite direction, then cuts to the corner to get an open 3 for the game winner.

The Lob Play

If you have the athletic big or a wing that can catch the ball, and a passer that can throw it, a lob play can be very effective. Most coaches do not prepare for guarding the lob, especially in High School and below.
