ICF-MetroDC -
Quarterly Frederick Coaches Coffee
Follow-up to the April 17, 2026, meeting
Hello Everyone,
For those who attended, I want to express my gratitude for your patience as I was summoned for jury duty. I was just two steps away from being questioned by the judge about potentially serving as a juror in a case involving a double homicide. It was a relief to be called, but I must admit that I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get to serve.
Now, let’s talk about our speaker, Jennifer McCloskey. She’s the owner of Girardi Associates and she shared some valuable insights on using and interpreting professional body language.

In Person Gathering for Frederick Coaches Coffee Participants! Mark your calendars
For our upcoming IN-PERSON session on July 10, 2026, I believe I’ve found a coffee shop that offers a dedicated room for our meeting. ICF Metro DC is also exploring the possibility of sponsoring the rental of this space.
My Organic Market (MOM) in Frederick is a great place to meet, but unfortunately, they don’t allow room reservations, so it’s first come, first served. I would prefer a more formal arrangement for this session.
We’re hoping to have some networking and skill-building activities. If you have an activity you love to offer clients or a skill you’d like to share, please reach out. Let’s make this an interactive and engaging session for everyone involved.
Interested in sharing your expertise or know someone who would like to share, please contact me at [email protected].
Mark your calendar for our last virtual session, tentatively scheduled for:
October 9, 2026, Topic: PanelSpeakers sought 'What does ICF Professional mean for me and my coaching practice'.
Warmly,
Your FCC facilitator, Sandra Menzies
