Hello !


Every year—until this year, darnit!—I've made the same mistake with my calendar.


I look at December and I see four weeks.


Four weeks to write. Revise. Finish the thing I meant to finish in November. Maybe even squeeze in a few more author tasks before the year ends since everyone else is busy travelling and spending holiday time with their families .


And technically, the calendar isn't lying. In fact, looking at December this year it looks closer to five weeks! Woo hoo!


But my iCal doesn't show the shorter days or the fact that most mornings, the last thing I want to do is turn on a light and stare at a screen while it's still dark outside.
