Meet our newest Glee Counselor-in- Training, and former Glee student, Sara Shaffer-Harris!

We are thrilled to have Sara join our Glee Camp Staff this June!

After being a Glee camper over the past 3 summer sessions, Sara is graduating and joining the staff to become our very own Glee C.I.T.

Sara's love of theater, especially her theater game expertise, will be a sure hit with our Glee campers this summer.

Did you know that she was a fire breathing dragon??

Get to know Sara:

What has been your favorite experience performing in a Musical?

Sara: "Shrek 100%. I was the Dragon and I sang the song Forever. It was by far the most fun and incredible role and experience I have ever done. I also had the side characters of Fairy Godmother and Queen Lillian."

Who is your current favorite singer?

Sara: "It changes weekly lol, but at the moment I just watched head over heels, a musical with songs from the go go’s, so I’m really into them right now, but I also love Maren Morris, in fact I’m going to her concert soon."

Which is your favorite theater game that you'll lead at this summer's Glee Camp?

Sara: "Bus Stop all the way. Bus Stop is the most fun, most interactive theater game ever. I was a little shy at first in theater but after playing this everybody opened up and wanted to keep playing. Its SO fun!"

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Sara: "Hmmm… that one is really hard. Whenever I go to an ice cream shop I usually get cookies and cream, but I also adore any fruity flavors."

Finish the following sentence, "I love to perform because..."

Sara: "I love to perform because it allows me to fulfill what I love to do most, which is singing dancing and acting. I also love the community performing builds. 6 months ago, I didn’t even know my cast, but now, they are my family and my best friends. Performing is what I live for.

Ever since I was little I loved to sing, and as soon as I stepped onto a stage I fell in love with theater. I will be performing until the day I die no doubt. It is my life and love."
