Hi Glee Family,

I hope you had a fun memorial day weekend. We had a delicious taco party with some buddies on Monday, yummy.

I wanted to introduce (or re-introduce) you to our AMAZING camp counselors, Sara & Violet, who make our Glee campers feel so special.

They are also both very active and talented performers. Learn a little more about Sara & Violet here:

Meet Glee Camp Junior Counselor Sara Shaffer-Harris:

Sara is our Counselor-In-Training and will lead drama improvisation. A former Glee camper herself, Sara worked with us last summer as well. Sara has had a busy year as a 7th grader at M.L.K. Jr. Middle School in Berkeley.

This past year Sara studied voice with me, studied dance, and recently had her Bat Mitvzah! Sara performed in many Berkeley Playhouse Theater Musicals, including The Lightning Thief, and the terrifyingly good role of Ms. Trunchbull in Matilda.

Sara is looking forward to leading you in theater games and planning our FriYay treasure hunt. Here is a photo of Sara singing at my Winter vocal student recital.

Meet Glee Camp Counselor Violet Worm:

We are excited to have Violet back again as a camp counselor and dance instructor this summer!

Violet has had a full year as a Sophomore at Oakland Technical High School in Oakland. Violet studies voice with me, and she is a very active performer at Berkeley Playhouse. She performed as the lead character, Ren, in Footloose the Musical, and as Alice, in The Addams Family Musical.

Violet is very excited to lead campers in a fun musical dance routine this summer at Glee camp!
