Hi Glee Families,

Meet Violet Worm, our super duper Glee C.I.T.!

Violet studies with me in my private vocal studio, and she is an awesome singer, pianist, and active performer at Berkeley Playhouse.

Learn why she's excited to perform with you this summer at camp!

Get to know Violet:

What has been your favorite experience performing in a Musical?

Violet: That is a really hard question. I have loved multiple roles I’ve played, but if I have to choose one, it would probably be Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I loved to open up the show singing Pure Imagination, and I also got to play the role of Grandma Josephine and it was awesome.

Who is your current favorite singer?

Violet: My current favorite singer would have to be Charli XCX. Even though her songs are more focused on the sound and beat, I am really into all the cool aspects she puts into her songs and she makes them very unique and almost futuristic. None of her songs sound the same.

Which is your favorite theater game that you'll lead at this summer's Glee Camp?

Violet: I would have to say that my favorite theater game at the moment is song association. You do have to work as a team, but it is fun to sing random songs that fit the word.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Violet: I would have to say my favorite ice cream flavor is probably peanut butter cup, but I also love this one by Baskin Robbins called Love Potion, and it has a little raspberry chocolates inside.

Finish the following sentence, "I love to perform because..."

Violet: I love to perform because it is the best way I can express myself. When I get onto stage it feels like the perfect place and the best experiences I’ve had have been from singing and musical theater. During quarantine it was really hard to take a break from that. But I’m really excited now to get back to it and help others perform.
