Did you know it was National Have Fun at Work Day yesterday? Did you have fun at work yesterday? 

I don’t mind my job, but there was no part of that day that was fun…. Except I’m semi-lying. 

We had some nasty weather earlier in the week with a surprise 🌪️ tornado around. We only had minor property damage from wind, but it was a little scary since it happened during the family's commute times.

The next couple of days brought brilliant blue skies without a cloud in sight. Just stunning. So I went for a random ride at lunch to get out & soak all of that in.

I went further than I normally would, and I found a hole-in-the-wall restaurant to have a solo lunch. It was chilly on the scooter, so I warmed up & had a good bite to eat. Then I rode back.

The 2nd half of my day was a lot better than my first.

Get out & ride for extra joy! Finding time + weather issues can make it difficult, but here is some inspiration for those that struggle to find time to ride:

▶️Commute on a scoot. I don’t love the morning commute necessarily, but the commute in the afternoon is gold when the weather is nice. Plus 💵-savings

▶️Run an errand. If you find you need to pop out real quick, do it on your scoot. It’s annoying when you just need that one thing for what you’re doing right now, but hopping on the scooter makes it better.

▶️Feel your stress rise? Just go. Unless you’re in the middle of a life-saving surgery, whatever you’re doing will be fine to be left for a bit. Clear your head. Come back better.

This was shared with me in the past week from a Midwest rider, "Managed to get out and ride on Tuesday. It amazes me how much my energy level, attitude, and mental state improves within 100 yards of pulling onto the road. All this AND much cheaper than a "shrink”!"

Community Corner

Brian has 2 scooters that he shared photos of, so you’re gonna get another dose of what is in his ‘garage’ next week. Each deserves the spotlight!!

This is his white 2021 Honda PCX. He’s switched out the windshield & shared that it should really come standard. It looks larger than a 150cc with it & it’s giving off maxi-scooter vibes.

Also, if you look closer in the different light here, you should see some subtle graphics added. Nice touch!!
