šµ Staying sane when you can't ride

Hey !!
Itās somehow not cold today, but it is going to rain. I have nowhere I NEED to be, so you wonāt find me on my scooter.
Being January, I am not seeing many ride posting online. There are a bajillion (or so) reasons that weather puts a kink in our ride time.
Whatās a scooter-lover to do?!
1. Give your scooter some TLC
If you havenāt winterized, you can certainly do maintenance. Even if you donāt ride enough for the mileage to flip over, itās likely that your manual says āOR 1 yearā.
That manual may also say things like āwinkerā for blinker. Browsing your manual can be entertaining in itself if youāre that bored. <I read that in the Kymco AK550 manual riding back from the dealership 3 hours away>
Or some cool accessories can be installed. It didnāt happen if you donāt share them with me via IG or here.
2. Start planning your next adventure
Routes. Reservations. Packing all the things with what you can fitā¦. This can be quite the rabbit hole.
And again. You need to share those with me. I am in my own planning š°š³ļø right now.
Movie days hit the spot
Curling up on the couch with a good book š is therapeutic (to me), but a movie šæ could be even better to escape a dreary day.
Iāve got you covered with scooter movie ideas here.
What do you have in your bad weather toolkit/arsenal?

I donāt talk about brands such as TaoTao simply because Iām all about a warranty (that includes service). Whatās fun is that I get a lot of stories about TaoTao owners that know they are buying a value scooter & are willing to get scrappy.
Randy is one of those people!
Iām paraphrasing, but his scooter didnāt come with a manual, parts or assembly list bought from a company with awful customer service. It sounds like it was a perfect storm of awful, but he got it figured out & has a good looking scoot that fit his budget! It's a TaoTao Turino Trailmaster.
Be seen & be safe, scooter friend! ā„
Take care,

PS: Let me know if Iām missing movies you hold near & dear to your scooter heart.
