Besides celebrating ALL dogs, pure and mixed breed, and spoiling them with love and attention; International Dog Day also serves as a reminder on how important it is to adopt and give street/shelter dogs the chance of a loving home.

Today you can pamper your dog with a nice long walk or buy him/her an extra special toy or treat. You could also celebrate this day together by helping other four-legged friends 💚

SOS El Arca operates a shelter for abandoned and abused street dogs in Playa del Carmen and surroundings; taking care of their rescue, sterilization and rehabilitation, to find them a loving forever family.
