Mythbusting ADHD – 3 Limiting Beliefs That Are Holding You Back.

Before you can level up your life with ADD/ADHD, it’s crucial to adjust your perspective on it.
I don’t deny that with ADD/ADHD, we do have many limitations.
Many of these have brought you here looking for answers & solutions.
But these limitations often morph into irrational limiting beliefs that prevent us from taking charge of what we can control.
Here Are 3 Adhd Myths That Are Holding You Back From Leveling Up Your Life.
Meds Will Solve All of Your Problems
Medication can, without a doubt, be the one piece of the puzzle that changes our lives, helping us regulate our symptoms and giving our brains the stability we need to be effective in many situations.
But if we don’t live a healthy lifestyle—one that, according to research, arguably helps ADHD even more than meds—working out, eating right, sleeping well, managing stress, etc., it’s like putting a blanket on a pig.
Medication should not be assumed to be a cure-all. It should be treated like a vitamin—something to take after already having a healthy diet, not to replace one. Make sense?
People With ADHD Can’t Focus
Despite how you felt as a kid or throughout adolescence, the idea that adults with ADHD—or anyone with ADHD—can’t focus is silly and simply untrue.
For many ADHD'ers, including myself, the perspective shift from “how to focus” to “how to not be distracted” is a massive transition that will revolutionize your approach to productivity.
Hyperfocus is often labeled as a fault, something we supposedly direct toward the wrong things, getting lost in counterproductive or even harmful activities.
With the right systems and habits in place, I can show you how to weaponize hyperfocus at will and direct it toward burning through the work that matters most to you.
You Don’t Have Any Control Over Your ADHD
Alright, here’s where things get a bit controversial. From my experience and that of my clients, the idea that you’re helpless to your ADHD is victim mentality bullshit.
Am I saying you don’t have valid reasons to be in the hole you’re in right now?
No, I’m not. Your reasons are valid, and many are objectively so.
But so what??
What are you going to do about it?
Just sit there, wave the white flag your entire life, and when you die, people remember you as just the:
“guy or girl with the rough life?”
The one who “tried their best?”
Or “He/She had big dreams but could never bring them to life because of their circumstances?”
Get that sorry-ass shit out of here.
You’re better than that. You have way more control over your situation than you think and no I’m not going to just tell you to “ want it more “ or “ try harder “
You’ve already heard that enough in your lifetime.
You have the power within you to be exceptional—to turn your perceived weaknesses into strengths and become unstoppable, surpassing even those without ADHD by a large margin.
The first step is ridding yourself of the “I can’t” attitude.
Because even if you’re right, it’s still not doing anything for you.
Over the next 30 days, you'll move from feeling stuck to having the tools you need to be the person you’ve always imagined yourself becoming.
See you tomorrow.
