The most exciting news this week is a little collaboration I've been working on. The Tonight programme approached me and asked if I'd like to work with them to help a family save some money. The family chosen are Mike and Sylwia Newell and their 3 boys, lovely people.
We met via Zoom to talk about what they were currently doing, what they would like to change and kicked around a few ideas on how to do it. Then I drew up a suggested menu plan which they liked the look of, changed a few things after discussion, then proceeded to the detailed menu plan, a shopping list and recipes/instructions. It was fun, different and interesting drawing up a menu that wasn't £1 a day
The programme will be on this week (Thursday), 7.30 on ITV. I hope you'll be able to watch.
Meanwhile, here's a couple of posts
Chicken liver parfait that's smooth unctuous and rich. Vary it around the amount of ingredients you have, it's very accommodating

I updated this recipe from 2013 today as I'd made one, it's not finished yet, but looks a lot better than it did!
A moist chocolate fudge cake recipe that can easily convert to a vegan chocolate fudge cake

With all best wishes, until next time
