Friends!
You've been so patient with me as I've hinted about big news for month after month...now it's finally time to share TWO major announcements!
The one I've been sitting on the longest is that A Noble Purpose was picked up by ONE Audiobooks! They'll be turning A Noble Purpose (along with many other books from the Cornerstone Series!) into a fabulous audiobook! I was first in contact with them last spring, and it's been SO HARD not to tell you. But now a narrator's been chosen, production starts this week, and they're hoping to have the completed product ready in November! I can't wait to hear how it turns out!! Stay tuned for an official release date :)
The other exciting development has turned around so quickly I'm kind of in shock. But in a good way! Last month I shared about Romantasy Vault, a YouTube channel that streams full-length audiobooks in the romantasy genre. I knew as soon as I heard the idea that I wanted to be involved, and that The Dancer and the Dragon Speaker would be the perfect fit for it. I reached out to a few narrators and soon determined that Tawnya Rollingson needed to be the one to bring this story to life (just wait until you hear how she nailed the dragon language!!). She's been a delight to work with and brings so much fun and personality to her projects!
Tawnya was able to fit in production for The Dancer and the Dragon Speaker in early September, and I got to listen to the full audiobook a few weeks ago. (I'm so in love!!) My lovely fellow Romantasy Vault authors were excited for me to get to premiere the audiobook on the channel as soon as possible, so it went up TODAY!!!! (Did I mention things moved fast? Eeeep!) So click HERE or on the graphic below to listen in whenever you want! For the next few months the audiobook will be exclusively available on Romantasy Vault, but I'll make sure to share when it goes up on other platforms. I hope you love it!!
Ha, it's hard to follow that news with anything else of interest, so I'll keep it brief! The school year is off to a fast but positive start, and I'm happy to report I've fit in some writing time! Book 3 in my Tales of the Mystics series is over 70,000 words (the other books in the series are around 75,000 for a comparison), and I'm getting SO CLOSE to finishing! I'm hoping to send it to my publisher next month after a round of edits. It's been so satisfying to finally see this story come together! And I'm eager to get working on my next project in line, which will directly benefit all of you wonderful newsletter subscribers :)
Until then, happy reading / listening and have a beautiful October!
Book Spotlights
Gabrielle Landi writes the coziest, sweetest fairy tale romances, and her latest book just released yesterday! Once Upon a Pumpkin is a Cinderella retelling involving a stable master finding a missing duchess. Doesn't it look like the perfect fall read?
Speaking of cozy fall reads, if the combination of a faerie and a werewolf trying to save a bakery sounds more up your alley, then Toni Cabell also released a new book earlier this month! Rhyme, Riddle, and Romance is an odd couple, reverse grumpy sunshine, forced proximity, clean fated mates romance that sounds adorable!
Now if adventure's more your preference, then Nicki Chapelway has you covered! A Voyage for the Cursed is Book 2 in her Mage's War Saga and releases tomorrow! Prophesies, pirates, a cursed island, decaying magic - everything you need for a swashbuckling read full of humor, action, and clean romance :)
There are also a few fun promos running right now (basically just a collection of books centered around a certain theme, often available on KU or even on sale!). If you're a fan of dragons, then Dragons and Daring is definitely for you! Or if you're looking for low-stakes comfort reads, then check out Cozy Sci Fi and Fantasy :) Both sets of books are PG-13 or lower when it comes to content. Happy reading!
