If you got my email last week, you saw that I had just returned from a wonderful retreat for my Christian Mommy Writer's group! I'm so glad that I had that time of rest because...

All three of my kiddos have hand, foot, and mouth. 😩 It's kind of derailed all my plans for school and writing this week, but hopefully, by next week, we'll be back in full swing!

Tomorrow is my oldest's birthday (she'll be 9) and since she was the first to get sick, she's also the first to get better. My husband took off to watch the two younger kids and I'm going to take her out to eat and to get her ears pierced. She's been begging for months, so we thought her birthday would be the perfect time.

As far as writing is going, I am slowly plugging away with Neverending Mercy's sequel. I know I originally said it was going to be three books, but I'm reworking some things and I believe that I can tell the stories I need to in this one book. Meaning this will be a duology instead of a three-book series. When I get more done, I will start sharing snippets and maybe a blurb!
