We're soooo different, bakit di ko siya ma-gets?

Hi ,
We had a jam-packed weekend!!! But praise God for the opportunity to serve, it is truly in giving that we receive just like what St. Francis said. Jeric gave a talk about the Universal Church simply the beauty of our Catholic faith at the Young Leaders Catholic Conference and we just wanted to thank you Langga for keeping us in your prayers.
Now, this week, we had a super fun conversation. A lot of times we think that we're not understood by the opposite sex. We can't seem to relate well or more so understand where they are coming from.
We always auto-pilot on being the same, on being symmetrical especially in our relationships even though we're all uniquely created. Unless we understand and accept our DIFFERENCES, it will be a source of conflict rather than cohesion.
We basically, almost automatically assume that "what is good for me is good for you."
This episode is all abot bridging that gap. So whether you're in a relationship, or single ka pa, or wala pang sumasalubong sa feelings mo? hehe this episode is for you.
Why?
Because we all deal with the opposite gender every single day - physical man yan or virtual!
There are three things that amaze me—
no, four things that I don’t understand:
how an eagle glides through the sky,
how a snake slithers on a rock,
how a ship navigates the ocean,
how a man loves a woman.
- Proverbs 30:18-19
We discuss WHAT EVERY HUSBAND SHOULD KNOW ABOUT HIS WIFE
- She needs to be cherished
- She needs to be known
- She needs to be respected
and of course WHAT EVERY WIFE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT HER HUSBAND
- He needs to be admired
- He needs to have autonomy
- He needs shared activity
Langga, agree ka ba diyan sa needs mo?
If you think so, we hope you can SHARE this episode to someone so they can be reminded that our uniqueness, our differences can be celebrated!
Hope to hear back from you as always!
