Honestly, I'm Terrible At This ...

Hey book lover,
It's Wednesday, and I'm writing this email between naps with a cup of lukewarm tea hoping neither the toddler nor baby needs my attention for thirty seconds while I tap this out.
This email should've gone out to you yesterday and if I was really organized another one would've gone out last Tuesday but I'm not (to my sheer and utter disappointment) so I missed a week and missed my next deadline entirely.
A late email will have to do this week until I figure out a plan to get--and stay--on top of this weekly newsletter thing.
I hope you are staying well. We're battling another head cold in our house. I knew sending Little Man to daycare would result in more germs coming home which isn't fun, especially in the age of C-19, but I was not prepared for my immune system to completely throw in the bucket every single time. I dread the rest of the winter if my body is going to fail me every time my son has a sniffly nose.
But other than that I've been busy writing. Last week (when I should've emailed you) my latest book was released. It's the first in a new contemporary romance, small-town series that chronicles the love and lives of the Butler Brothers- Beau, Colt, Deacon, Evander, and Forrest.
The first book is about Colt and his ex-wife Wren who are going through a divorce when they realize the damage their separation has done to their daughters and come together to try and save their family. And fall in love all over again.
If you love second chance romances, this is for you. Chalked full of a man realizing that silence is not communicating and a woman who doesn't compromise her own dreams for true love. This is a book where we. can. have. it. all.
Next week, Beau's story hits the digital shelves and it's a story about a woman on the run from an abusive ex, trying to do her best to keep her son safe. She lands in the small town of Sage River right into the local Sheriff's arms, despite her better judgment. And they fall in love until secrets threaten to rip them apart.
If either of these sounds interesting to you, check them out on Amazon!
Otherwise, I hope you're staying well. Until next week (if I remember!), with love and magic.
