Not going to lie to you lovely folks. I am not feeling the holiday cheer this year. Didn't last year or the year before that either. My mom had been in ill health for a long time and passed last December. Needless to say the holidays last year were bittersweet and more than a tad difficult with planning funeral arrangements while also putting on a brave smile for my family and trying to keep everything "normal." I thought this year would be better and maybe it will be, but I am just not feeling the holiday spirit yet.

Not inclined to remain in a negative energy space, I am attempting to find a way to raise my vibration to usher in a high-vibe, positive energy, amazing new year for 2025. A dear friend of mine always has the answer for that so Jennifer Lonnberg, this is for you! It's official, you are the voice in the head.

GRATITUDE!!!!!

It's all about gratitude! Even if it's just for a cup of lukewarm coffee, daily gratitude is important because it focuses your mind, body and soul on the good while not allowing the bad to drag you down. It shifts your negative nelly energy to positive joyful energy.

So let's take this gratitude party for a spin!

To list all I am grateful for this year would take up hundreds of pages so I'll keep it simple. But here's the key...

YOU HAVE TO JOIN IN AND STATE WHAT IS (AT LEAST) ONE THING YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR

You can have a list a mile long, but if you don't acknowledge it, the energy tends to fade.

SO LET'S ALL GIVE A SHOUTOUT FOR AT LEAST 1 THING WE ARE THANKFUL FOR

It can be something you are thankful for today, for this past year, or from any time in your life. If can be simple like the cup of coffee example or the elastic in your panties still holds up; or it can be broad and high-reaching like you are grateful for God's creation, for life, for your favorite song playing on the radio,... The list is endless, eternal, and never-ever ending!

I am requesting everyone to cite at least one thing they are grateful for and reply to this email so we can start 2025 with a GRATITUDE LIST!

Even if you don't reply to this email, at least speak it out loud to yourself, write it down in your journal, or even silently meditate over what you are grateful for.

I pray everyone does have a joyous holiday season and an amazing new year in 2025! I pray next year at this time we will all be rejoicing and enjoying the season with a list of what we are thankful for thousands of miles long.

One thing I am thankful for... is a person who helped me take back control of my life and who is responsible for me choosing Gratitude over being a Grinch this holiday season... Jennifer Lonnberg who I mentioned above.
