Monthly I meet with other professional book editors via our certifying organization, Professional Book Editors Association (PBEA), where we discuss industry trends, concerns facing authors, and how we can better serve the author community.

Out of this meeting came the inspiration to offer BOOK CONCEPT CONSULTATIONS to authors who struggle to get started writing their book baby. Maybe they have a general idea of a story but no clue how to incorporate character development, points of view, or maybe they don't understand the three act structure. Maybe all they have is an idea! Which is awesome! Now let's figure out how to get that idea molded into a blockbuster book!

What does a Book Concept Consultation entail?

One hour of one-on-one coaching with a recording available to you after the call where we will discuss whatever it is that is keeping the words in your noggin instead of flowing onto paper (or in most cases, a computer screen).

Now, there's an advisory here. YOU WILL HAVE HOMEWORK BEFORE THE MEETING so we can figure where to start and what areas to focus on.
