Seriously!!! WOWZA!!! I'm still reeling from this one, ladies and gentlemen! READ THIS BOOK!!!

But now on to the review. I joined The Middle Book Club monthly meeting without having read the book yet. And I was blown away by what the lovely ladies had to say about this book. It sounded 1000% up my alley!

• Midlife heroines
• Friendship fiction
• Supernatural but so enmeshed in real-world it was believable
• Funny, quirky
• Bad guys/gals get their comeuppance in a major way
• No apologies for these kick@$$ women coming into their own powers and kicking @$$
• Almost too-close connection to real events but satisfying resolutions
• Heartbreaking drama
• Heart-racing suspense
• Heart-healing friendship and love

This book has it all!!!

During the book club meeting, the ladies were asked who they could identify most with in the story out of the three main characters - Harriet, Jo, and Nessa. And truth is, I believe all women in the change of life, can probably relate in some aspects with all three. I know I'd love Harriet's no-fs-given attitude and even her vengeful side; I'd be overjoyed to have Jo's strength and sense of goodness should squash evil; and even Nessa's softer side which despite her power and her calling, I could identify with her sense of fear and some resistance to stepping up to her calling and to her destiny because inside we're all afraid to come out from behind the image we've put up to cloak our real selves, our real weaknesses to the world.

I don't want to give too much away because I want you to READ THE BOOK!!!
