Hi ,

What a way to finish our 2023 kunanyi Trail Series! A huge thank you to everyone who turned out and enjoyed the trails in the slightly wet conditions!

And congratulations!

Congratulations to everyone who ran our Cascade Slide (Enduro) and Cascade 4.0 (Sport) events!

Your results are below, but first let's give a special shout-out to our junior runners! It was our largest field of younger runners ever!

2023 Champions of kunanyi!

We had three contenders vying to win the Sport Women's category (congrats to you all for a great year!) - with Ruth Whitaker winning it!

It was more clear cut in our other 3 categories - a big congratulations to David Bailey who's our 2023 Enduro Men's Champion of kunanyi! It's the 4th time (in a row!) he's won the title and tops off an incredible year for him - gracing podiums right across Australia!

Annabel de Jong also had an incredibly impressive 2023 at our Series, with 2 first places and a third - she's our 2023 Enduro Women's Champion of kunanyi!

(Neither of our Women's Champions were present for presentations & photos)

And Nick Beeton has proved that consistency is key! He placed 2nd at three of our Sport events this year - and then finished the year with a first in the Cascade 4.0, and a course record!

Congratulations to our 2023 Champions of kunanyi!!

You all can be proud!

Conditions were tougher today with the rain and we know you might have been tempted to stay rugged up at home instead! So congratulations to everyone who chose to come out and run with kunanyi!

All the results are now up, head to our website to check out your time!

A huge thanks to our volunteers

As usual, our volunteers were incredible today given the conditions! We quite simply can't run these events without them, so THANK YOU! A very special thank you to Jane Berriman and Will O'Farrell, who have been our extremely important check-in and timing officials!

We know you guys love the team at Find Your Feet as much as we do, because their awesome spot prizes were in high demand! A huge thanks to Graham, Hanny and the team for their invaluable support for our events across the year!

And how lucky were David Hughes and Anthea Messmer who took home the Salomon Thundercross shoes and the Salomon Advanced Skin Set 12 vest!!

Unfortunately given the weather conditions, Christina from our partner Sanara Studio wasn't able to join us for your post-run stretches. But they'd love to see you in the studio!

Let's do it all in 2024!

We're really excited to announce the dates (and importantly, the courses!) for our 2024 kunanyi Trail Series!

We're introducing a 5km course at the very popular winter event, the Tolosa Half/Tolosa Quarter, and a brand new event that features some of the best trails around Knocklofty (plus there's going to be a night run!!).

We're really stoked to start the year with the kunanyi Sunrise & Richea Ridge - a track which many trail runners haven't yet had the pleasure of experiencing! And the Organ Pipes Classic is a truly that - a classic trail run on some very runnable trails, taking you right under kunanyi's iconic Organ Pipes!

We'll email you soon to let you know when registrations will open!

Thanks again for being a part of our kunanyi Trail Series community. We can't wait to be back with you in February!

And remember, kunanyi Mountain Run 2024 entries open this week!

(They open Monday if you're on the kMR mailing list!)
