Hi !
The Golden Rules for Golden Trail are...
Read on to find out!
Our Mountain Run 25km is the Second stage of the Golden Trail National Series, powered by the global apparel label Salomon.
The Golden Trail National Series provides a platform for our best trail athletes here in Australia to showcase trail running culture, and it gives them the opportunity compete at the highest level globally, at the Golden Trail World Series Final. (But it's not just about elite runners; there's more on that below)
This superstar, Maggie Lennox, born and bred here in Hobart, was the overall women's winner in 2024 🙌
You now have the chance to hear her Golden Trail story (and maybe those golden rules), in the very first QnA for #kMR2025. She'll be joined by the 2024 overall men's winner, Leo Peterson, and Salomon runner Simone Brick, who has competed in both the National and World Series.
Lock in Wednesday 12 February at 8pm
Are you running the Golden Trail National Series?
GTNS isn't just for the elites. By being part of it, we hope it can inspire all Tasmanians to step out on to the trails, so they can share in the health and wellbeing benefits of trail running.
Check out the full 2025 line-up:

Plenty of stories to share
We're super excited about the rest of our QnA line-up this year, that will give us the chance to share, and hear stories from our community. Plus they'll give you plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get advice!
All of the QnAs will be livestreamed to our kMR Facebook page and saved there too, so you can catch up later as well.
As you can see, things are really ramping up! We are less than 8 weeks away from #kMR2025 🎉
Plus, there are some last-minute spots left in our Training Runs this coming weekend (Saturday is sold out but spots are available Sunday & Monday).
So if you've been thinking about joining us, jump on it!
Training Runs registrations close tonight at 9pm.
This is a great opportunity to be part of really fascinating, and important research. We look forward to seeing some of you get involved!
In the meantime, we can't wait to see you out on the trails.
