Given that Timm Freitas and I are writing a textbook together – and given that he is so prolific in terms of making videos for his Garden of English YouTube channel – I thought that I should let my templates out of the vault and make some videos as well.
This week I released two videos.
The first features a writing workshop for my AP Literature friends. In brief, I breakdown FRQ 1from the 2021 exam and demonstrate how my students incorporated my templates to construct their essays about “The Man With the Saxophone.”
And the second video features FRQ 1 for the 2021 AP Language exam (Handwriting). Again, I simply “Bob Ross” my instruction for teachers and students and “paint” my way through the essay while illustrating how my templates can be employed.
