There’s lots going on … so I thought I’d send a quick note.
First, this coming Tuesday night at 7:30 EST, I am hosting a FREE Alternative Grading Methods webinar with the folks over at Perfection Learning. Quite literally – bring that heaping stack of essays you’ve been begrudgingly avoiding and I’ll show you some new alternative grading tricks. As we know, no matter how many comments we manage to squeeze into the margins of a student’s paper – we do not witness much growth or maturation from our writers despite our best efforts. Registration is required, so please reserve your seat by following this link:

And given that it’s AP test-prep season, it seems like a good idea to host a couple of sessions to demonstrate how my templates can be used to construct each FRQ.
That’s the kicker – one template can be employed to house each FRQ.
A good template can totally demystify the writing process - so for my kids, there’s zero second guessing when it comes to their writing.
They quite literally proceed through each of the FRQs while manipulating the strings of one template.
So, on this coming Thursday April the 28th at 7:30 pm EST, let’s start with AP Literature & Composition.
What we’ll do is revisit the entire 2021 exam and I’ll “Bob Ross” my way through each FRQ.
And how about we do the same for AP Language & Composition on Wednesday May 4th at 7:30 pm EST?
To keep things simple, I’ll send separate Zoom links for each session in separate emails.
Reach out if you have any questions.
Happy teaching and happy writing!
