On countless occasions, I've dropped the proverbial bucket into the wells of a student only to come up empty.
But here's the kicker - in spite of the fact that they have an endless galaxy of narratives swimming in their depths, they hit their heads against a wall of zilch ... nothing but crickets and dead ends of nothingness.
Which begs the question: where do the good ideas come from?
While writer's block can be an impenetrable force to reckon with, the real obstacle for our students lies in the ideation phase.
