Happy Wednesday !

This is a very special week for me and a very busy one too! My oldest son is getting married on Saturday, so we are in the final days of preparation. Tomorrow we'll have the rehearsal dinner, and only two more sleeps until the big day. I'm so thankful to gain a wonderful daughter-in-law and excited for them to start their new lives together.

If you are a praying person, I'd love to ask you to pray that everything goes smoothly, the weather is good (it's an outside venue), and that God blesses these two as they start their new lives together.

I can't wait to share some pictures with you in the next newsletter, so stay tuned. Here's one from one of their shower this past weekend.

Kandice Geddes

was born and raised beside the red hills of St. George, Utah. She discovered her love of writing as a small child and began creating stories about mermaids falling for dashing princes. Thank you, Disney. And it only continued from there.

She graduated from Southern Utah University with a track scholarship in Elementary Education and taught 1st Grade for four years.

While living in northern Colorado, she rediscovered her love of writing, especially within the world of sweet romance, and has been pursuing it ever since.

Some of her other loves are: reading, drawing, sugar cookies, watching Disney movies (shocker I know), and spending time with her swoony husband and two highly spirited boys.

I'm officially cursed...

With every job I've ever had, my boss has been ridiculously attractive yet beyond aggravating. I know what you’re thinking… That doesn’t sound so bad Livia. But believe me, it’s a terrible combination. And it just keeps getting worse. I'm stuck in an unbreakable loop where I can't stand the alpha-male, boss man a moment longer and I have to quit. I’ll never make the mistake of dating one again.

I don't know if I need to start searching for four-leaf clovers or place a couple of lucky pennies inside my shoe, but something has to help break this curse. No matter my luck, or lack thereof though, I refuse to back down anymore. I've landed my dream job; the frustrating boss man won't push me out this time. But I have one more dilemma... I'm dang attracted to this one as well. Even though I won't admit it to anyone--including myself--Ryan Cartwright may be the hottest and most aggravating of them all. I can't stand to be in the same room with him, yet all I can look at is... him!

Now, he's asked me to be his fake fiancée on a tropical getaway with his family so he can avoid some crazy relationship his parents keep throwing at him.

No thanks! But when he offers me the position I've been longing for, how's a girl to say no? Especially when he’s asking me with those sky blue eyes and a smile that could melt any girl's heart. The swoon meter is in real trouble now. But I'm determined to keep him at arm's length no matter the cost. I’m not about to lose my heart to someone who'd crush it. Besides, I made a pact with my roommates a while back, and I'm not about to break it again.

The Perfect Shot

A little bit of city, a little more small town, and a whole lot of heart.

Jex Radcliffe is hyperfocused on his career, especially after the fiery breakup with his conceited ex-fiancé. The camera prototype he’s designed could be his chance to eke out a future without having to rely on his rich father. He just needs the perfect model to help secure a developer for his product. When a woman from his online photography forum starts asking around about a mentor, he wonders if a weekend business arrangement could open a door of opportunity he needs. Or could it be a disaster in the making?

A year after her boyfriend betrayed her with another woman, Carly Kirkpatrick has continued to put her social life on hiatus in favor of keeping her struggling, small-town photography business afloat. To breathe some new life into her work, she reluctantly posts a request for a mentor to an online group and gets a promising hit. His credentials say he’s got all the right answers. But will a mentorship with a big-city stranger turn into something more than she’s bargained for?

The Sound of Home

*Kindle Unlimited*

Returning home never sounded so good.

Autumn River was never home for me. Trapped by the prison of my parents’ rules and wealth, I couldn’t wait to escape the small town of my youth to chase my dreams of making music in the city.

But when a photo opportunity for a money-hungry journalist captures me at the wrong place at the wrong time, I needed to hide. So, I’ve returned to the town I loathe until the dust settles and my name is no longer stained with controversy.

My best friend encourages me to have fun and a fling while I’m back in town—but I’m not here for that. Although, Aaron Reilly, the neighboring rancher, a widower and a single dad, has been nothing but nice to me since rescuing me from the side of the road on my first night in town. He’s kind, generous and easy on the eyes. So, perhaps a little harmless fun won’t hurt after all.

But my celebrity status proves to do more harm than good, bursting my bubble of denial and hurting those I’ve become close to, leaving me wondering if a normal life will ever be within my reach.

Now I have to decide if what I’ve worked so hard for is worth giving up for something I’ve craved my whole life.
