Author of the Month Regina Walker

Happy Wednesday !
It's been a busy month of May for me. Engagement parties, baby showers, wedding planning, graduation parties, end of school year activities, a dance recital--you name it! I recently saw something on social media where the woman said she voted to move Mother's Day to another month so we could actually take a break and not have so much to do. I'm with this mom! haha!
I have to be honest... I haven't done any writing lately and it makes me sad. The past month has been so full there's been no downtime to really focus and get into author mode. A few times, I've opened my computer to write, only to be interrupted by someone who needs something, and it distracts my focus. When I get back to the book I just stare at the page. I have ideas swirling around in my head for a new series--which I've already started--but I've decided to focus on the current series I started with the Christmas book and finish editing Brynn & Turner's story.
However, I have been reading a lot of books and working on some fun new character artwork for other authors. When my brain needs a break, drawing is always a good stress reliever. One of my favorite books I've read recently is Mandi Blake's new release. If you haven't read it yet, I HIGHLY recommend it!
