Happy Thursday !

It took forever, but I finally have words in a new book! I've been in such a writing slump this year, and I'm glad to break free. I've got a little over 7,000 words in The Thing About Mistletoe Kisses. Funny that I'm writing a Christmas book in the middle of Spring, but if I can keep my mojo, I'll hopefully have a release for you later this year. (Maybe even two if I can get my act together.)

In other news, I've been reading up a storm lately. I've read so many books lately--some I loved, some not so much--but a few of them are ones I want to share with you today in the featured books. These are all my friends, but I love to support them and also read their stories. You will enjoy each one, so make sure to check them out.

Have a wonderful week!

The One She Can't Forget

by Tara Grace Ericson

*Kindle Unlimited*

The sweet memories of our relationship haunt me more than any fire I've ever fought. Because she can't remember any of it.

I thought my world was falling apart when Monica was in the car accident. Waiting desperately with her family in the hospital, I couldn’t let anyone see just how much I cared.

Our secret relationship meant my hidden torture as I waited for her to wake up. But when she finally did, the truth, was so much worse. Thankfully, she’s healing perfectly fine–except she can’t remember the last six months.

Which means she still thinks we merely tolerate each other for her brother’s sake and are more inclined toward animosity than attraction.

She doesn’t remember our first kiss.

Or our first date.

Or our promises of forever.

No one else in town knew we were together, especially her brother--my best friend. And when I tried to tell her, she doesn’t even trust me enough to believe it.

But I’ll do everything I can to make her remember. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll just have to make her fall in love with me all over again. Even if it was nearly impossible the first time. I'll be The One She Can't Forget.image

Her Billionaire Benefactor

by Elizabeth Maddrey

*Kindle Unlimited*

Billionaires get a lot of requests for money, but when my great-grandmother asked me to set up a scholarship at her alma mater, I was happy to oblige. Anything to make my GG smile.

But I made the mistake of mentioning that the Bible college where she met her one true love was gearing up for their annual Easter play. GG’s response? Stay in Kansas and lend a helping hand.

Such a terrible idea. Not only is it challenging to run a billion-dollar business remotely, it also means spending more time with Wendy Hall—the beautiful young widow who makes me want to help with more than just the play. So I’ll do my part at the concessions stand, and I’ll see what I can do about the secrets bringing Wendy down.

Easter is a time for new beginnings. A second chance at love might be the last thing Wendy wants, but I’m here to show her it’s exactly what she needs.

His Best Friend's Widow

by Hannah Jo Abbott

*Kindle Unlimited*

She’s a widow, determined to hide her struggle and her heart from the world. He’s her husband’s best friend, who made a promise to take care of the family he left behind.

When Hailey’s husband died, she vowed that she alone would provide for her children. Her heart couldn’t suffer any more hurt and her children needed her more than ever. Even still, she aches for someone to lean on and share life.

Landon swore to his best friend that he would watch over his wife and kids, but how does a man even begin to take on a promise that big? A fun-loving bachelor could never fit into family life, no matter how much he might enjoy it.

In a moment of desperation, Hailey reaches out to Landon for help, but when he comes to her aid, he realizes he’s not been keeping his promise. After he gets a taste of Hailey’s struggles as a single parent, he knows he can’t let them live this way.

The more Landon is around, the more Hailey longs to open up to him and as their feelings grow, so does Landon’s guilt. Soon they discover that unspoken love is almost as heavy a burden as promises unkept.

Can Landon and Hailey let go of their fears and embrace their chance at happiness?
