Thankfulness Thursday... and some other good stuff

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Okay, this picture is definitely not Christmasy, but I ran outside to take it while I was putting up my tree this past weekend. Have you put up your tree yet? Normally, I wait until after Thanksgiving, but this year I was feeling festive, and we also had to decorate early for something we will film at our home for my husband's job. So, I didn't really mind to start early.
Looking back at this picture made me think about how grateful I am for beautiful North Carolina sunsets. Another thing I'm thankful for are books! Who's with me? Despite this crazy year we've had, I hope you are able to reflect on something positive from this year.

I hope each of you have a blessed Thanksgiving and hopefully will able to spend some time with family and friends.
My Heroic Billionaire
Katie Evergreen
For Ashley Harris, getting over a broken heart is almost as difficult as settling into a new town—until she’s asked out for a coffee by a cute firefighter. But is this dashing hero who he says he is, and can she begin to trust again?
On the surface, Joshua Moore is a hero who risks his life for those around him. But he feels like a coward: hiding from his father, hiding from his duty to take over the family business, and hiding from the terrible childhood tragedy that hardened him into adulthood. He refuses to believe that he can atone for his actions, until one day he meets a woman who promises to change everything.
A billionaire with a chance of future happiness if he could only forgive his past. A woman with a broken heart who just needs the right man to mend it. Can they heal each other and live the life they were destined for?

Loving the Boss
by Agnes Canestri
She needs a fresh start without men. Her boss thinks women complicate life. Will yielding to temptation open old wounds or be their path to love?
Eleni is in desperate need of a new beginning—preferably one that’s far, far away from her cheating ex. So when she’s offered a job at a remote tropical resort, she jumps at the opportunity. Now all she has to do is ignore her attraction to the resort’s handsome dive instructor, Matteo. After all she’s been through, the last thing she needs is another potential heartache.
Matteo isn’t looking for love, either. He’s more comfortable in the water than out of it, and finds the depths of the ocean a lot easier to navigate than matters of the heart. Besides, he needs to stay focused if he wants to eventually open his own freediving school. All he’ll have to do now is ignore how Eleni makes his heart flutter with nothing more than a glance in his direction.
But all their best intentions go out the window when Eleni is transferred to the dive center to work for Matteo—and it’s not long before the lines between business and pleasure blur. Can Eleni and Matteo learn to overcome the wounds of the past and heal together, even if their ambitions and desires are oceans apart?
