Falling for Small Towns, Sweet Love, and the River Ridge Crew

Happy Wednesday !
Fall has officially arrived (and the leaves are starting to change in River Ridge đ), and that means cozy sweaters, crisp mornings, andâif youâre Rett Edwardsâgetting ready for another busy season at the Christmas tree farm.
I love this time of year because it reminds me of simple joys and second chances, which is what The Thing About Mistletoe Kisses and The Thing About Blind Dates are all about.
đ In The Thing About Mistletoe Kisses, Rettâs story begins in October as he steps in to help run the Spake familyâs Christmas tree farm. What he doesnât expect is to find love waiting among the rows of evergreens.
âSometimes, the people we least expect are the ones who make us feel like weâve finally come home.â
đ¸ In The Thing About Blind Dates, Brock and Marloweâs story unfolds at the same tree farm in River Ridgeâproof that even the most unexpected moments can lead to something beautiful.
âSometimes love finds you when youâre standing in the exact place you swore youâd never be.â
Both stories are part of my Itâs A Love Thing seriesâheartfelt, small-town romances about family, forgiveness, and the beauty of finding love when you least expect it.
đ Whatâs one thing you love to do in the fall? đ
Do you head to a pumpkin patch, bake something cozy, or curl up with a good book and a mug of something warm? Hit reply and tell meâI might even feature some of your favorites in my current WIP.
đ Have you visited River Ridge?
Have a wonderful week!
Abandoned. Forgotten. Alone. At least, thatâs what Maddie Bennett has always believed.
Struggling to survive as a freelance writer in London, Maddieâs carefully constructed world begins to unravel. When financial strain forces her to retreat to her auntâs old stone house in the Scottish countryside, she expects a quiet summerâone where she can hide from the past. But what she finds hidden in the attic cracks everything wide open: a box of letters from the mother who walked away... or so she thought.
As Maddie delves into a past long buried, secrets begin to surfaceâabout her motherâs fractured identity, a truth guarded by the people she thought she could trust, and a love that looked nothing like she imagined. Torn between resentment and revelation, Maddie is faced with a painful question: Did her mother really abandon herâor did she sacrifice everything to protect her?
ďťżTheir second chance was the one that mattered most.
When Chance Overstreet left love behind ten years ago, he never thought it would grace his life again, but when an injury ends his military career, he finds himself back in his hometown of Courage, Colorado. Managing a ski resort comes with its own challenges especially when he finds out his high school sweetheart is his employee.
Merribeth is barely holding it together when the man who left her for the army shows back up in her life. While juggling her son, her job, and her unreliable car, she has to find a way to work with Chance despite their history.
When a ghost from her past threatens her son, nothing is more important than saving the people that Chance canât keep out of his heart.
