Hi ,

Well, the tree is trimmed, the house is decorated, the baking of goodies has commenced, most of the presents have been purchased...and I only have a few more days of work before my holiday break!

Even though all of those things are a fun part of the holiday, the real reason for the season is to celebrate the birth of our Savior! I took this picture a couple of weeks ago at church as we were preparing for our children's program. We have this huge nativity set up in the center of our worship center and I love how the light is focused on the manger.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
14
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”[a] --Luke 2:11-14 (ESV)

I want to wish you a Merry Christmas!
