 Can you eat bread on a keto diet?

Good afternoon ,

   Bread is something that we all know and love. It has been a staple in our everyday life since we were kids. Giving up bread can be one of the toughest things for those who are new to keto. What if you didn't have to, and could still enjoy the benefits of keto? Running an Instagram page I am subject to criticism, and whenever I post an image with bread as a main component, you would not believe the amount of DM's and comments saying I know nothing about keto and that I should give up on my life because I think you can eat bread. Some of the things that are said are incredibly rude. With that being said, can you eat bread on a keto diet?


   I have personally been doing keto for a little over five years and up until two months ago I was under the impression that bread was 100% out of the equation for me. After craving bread for a few weeks I knew that there had to be something that I could eat that would give me what I want. After doing some research I came across the bread by kiss my keto that is a link to the bread it self. If you are extremely strict about having absolutely zero carbs this might not be the option for you, but I have found it to be the best that there is as of now. I have been using it for two months now and after a while of trying it I have truly fallen in love and can't see myself eating any other bread. Here is the link again for the bread


   Now this is not all sunshine and rainbows there are a few downfalls to this bread. I would say the absolute worst thing about this bread is the price. Starting at $11.99 for one loaf it can be very disheartening. With that being said, you should be cutting down on your bread use in general, for me I buy a load once a month. To go from buying two or three loafs a week almost six years ago, to one a month is a huge accomplishment for me. This is not your regular bread remember, here are the stats for the seeded wheat:

   Looking at these as a whole you might be asking yourself. There is 6 grams of carbs in one slice and you think that is keto friendly? The short answer is. Yes. I stated earlier in this post if you are looking to consume absolutely zero carbs than this won't be for you. I am sharing this for you all to know that they is an option for those who are craving bread. 

   

I have personally found that the cinnamon raisin flavor is the best of the three. It goes well with almost anything you throw at it. Again I buy a loaf a month, so I feel as though this is a good option for me. Please if you would like more information check out this link


There are a few other options out there that I might share at a different time, this was just the only one that I have personally tried and was willing to share. I truly feel as though if you try this you will absolutely enjoy it.
