Last weekend I went on the first vacation that we've been on since we had our two little cuties. And let me tell you, it was long overdue.

When we get into the role of "mommy", I think it's easy for us to forget out who we were before.

After having the kiddos, my husband and I both changed careers a couple of times and honestly, didn't have the time or money to go anywhere.

I'm so grateful to have finally had the chance to date my husband again. But I am seriously struggling to get back to work this week! Has that ever happened to you??

Look up these hashtags on Instagram because the conversations are hopping! Women's health, Photography, Siblings, and BBQ! May is shaping up to be a great month. Memorial Day is coming up, now is a great time to premeditate posts, sales, and special offers your e-commerce business may offer during this popular holiday.  

Monday 24- #womenshealthmonth The month of May is Women's Health Month. If you have not taken advantage of this popular hashtag, go for it. It's not too late, and it's a meaningful conversation to be a part of, even if you are a male! Share a self-care tip, your favorite way to pamper yourself or your significant other. Encourage your readers to do the same. 

Tuesday 25- #siblingappreciationday Time to get sweet! If you have a sibling, share an old or new photo of them. People love looking at old photos, so if you have a few bloopers or blasts from the past….SHARE! If you are an only child, share a funny childhood photo of yourself and talk about what you love about being an only child or what you feel you missed out on without a sibling. Putting a smile on someone's face as they scroll by is the best way to improve your impressions on Instagram so share your funny photos. 

Wednesday 26- Have you played tourist in your city lately? Instagram is centered around great photography, and sharing photos is one way to get involved in your local community, via Instagram of course. People, especially potential customers, love to see local sights, and sharing a few snapshots of landmarks or scenes is a great way to break up the feed. Many city visitor centers now run Instagram accounts, and if your photo is of good quality, it could be shared with your photo credit. This adds to brand awareness and community involvement in a virtual way. Be sure to use the hashtag #NationalPhotographyMonth

Thursday 27- This is it. It has to be done. If you are genuinely trying to make an impact on social media, you need to post an Instagram Reel AT LEAST once a week. This day is dedicated to just that. Please take a few video clips of your e-business process and set it to music. If you or an employee is willing to be silly, film a few dance moves. It's easier than it seems, so get jiggy with it. 

Friday 28- Ending May on a solid note! May is #NationalBBQMonth, and if you haven't celebrated yet, why not? The outdoors is the best lighting situation for photos you could ask for on a sunny day, and everyone loves a good BBQ vibe. Dress it up with an apron or snap a few pics while cooking over flames. Don't be shy; throw in a kiddie pool and your favorite drink for some flare. Learn to love photoshoots and make them extra with festive props.
