☕ Tuesday Tea - New Year, New Brew

Jan 21, 2025 3:39 pm

Dear ,

You don’t need a new year to reinvent yourself, but focus and intention are absolute musts. If you're struggling to realize your best self, or even your best course of action in a particular situation, give the following recipe a try.

Rosemary and Mint Tea to Enhance Focus and Intention-setting

Rosemary is my favorite herb to use on chicken and potatoes. Their flavors (and aromas) seem perfectly matched. It offers several health benefits, and when combined with cooling, calming mint, it provides a powerful boost to cognitive function.

It’s currently -15°F in our neck of the woods, so we’ll be using dried herbs. Remember, any herb can interact with medications so be sure to check if either will be a problem for you.

Ingredients

2 cups water

1 tsp dried rosemary

2 tsp dried mint

Instructions

Bring your water to a boil. Place dried herbs in a tea ball strainer. Place strainer in cup. Pour in boiling water. Remove strainer after 5 minutes. Garnish with lemon or orange.

This is the point in the newsletter where I typically recommend one or two good books, but instead, I'd ask you for patience. I'll be sending out a special opportunity in a few days that will help you get your fill of cozy reads.

Stay tuned 'til then,
