Hello my travel friends! I hope you are getting your Summer underway. It is hot out there, but plenty of outdoor activities await.

The last two news letters, I have outlined my travels to both Antarctica and the places Down Under. Both trips were truly amazing. The one thing I came away with is the importance of making the plans to see and do exactly what you always dreamed. I had always dreamed of sleeping in an over the water bungalow in Tahiti! It is the planning that brings about the adventure and creates life long memories. I know I spent countless hours on the NZ/Australia/S. Pacific trip figuring out how I would achieve my dreams. But it was well worth the effort. I got to sleep in my over the water bungalow listening to the breakwaters crashing on the reef nearby.

Here are some suggestions if you want those dream destinations to become a memory.

  1. Find the destination or experience that you really want.
  2. Book this adventure with a refundable deposit. This will keep you focused on the destination. Even if it is 2 years away, book the adventure trip.
  3. Continue to read blogs or research your destination. The more you know the more the destination comes to life.
  4. Make small payments if necessary to keep moving toward that dream experience. This becomes a proactive approach that keeps your dreams alive.

I can gladly help anyone find a dreamy destination. I can make suggestions of where to go and what to do as well. But most of all, put a plan in order and you will be rewarded. Making dreams come true require planning and execution.

An interesting itinerary I have come across, and this is for those who love American History. The Island Princess is sailing the month of June roundtrip Boston or New York to take in Norfolk, VA, Charleston, SC, Halifax, NS, Canada. She will do this again in 2025.  This is an 11 night cruise and can give you the opportunity to see the historical sights. What a great way to see these marvelous cities and learn about Colonial America!

Remember to book early when you can. I have clients booked into 2026 and that is how you get good fares! Yes, there are other closer in deals, but you will not get your coveted midship balcony. However, if you are not particular of cabin location, deals can be found. I am always here to help!

Through my travels I have come across a wonderfully talented piano player in Crooner’s Bar aboard Princess ships. Someone who sings and plays tunes from the 30’s, 40’s and forward. He does theme nights such as the music of the Rat Pack or Broadway tunes, and he will take your request as well. He also has some excellent lecture series too. His name is A J Clarke and he will be aboard the Emerald Princess from September to mid-December. He will be sailing a few very nice itineraries. First, will be Canada and New England. Secondly, a reposition from Quebec to Ft Lauderdale, and then Panama Canal for abut 6 weeks. I can gladly help you get on to a cruise with A J Clarke. You can combine day time travel excursions with seeing new and beautiful places and then at night time enjoy a brilliant piano lounge. Unmatched and you won’t be disappointed!
