All are greetings from the South Pacific

In my last email, we had been to Australia and New Zealand. Wow, they are such beautiful countries not to mention the wonderful people! I could easily go back if it were not so far away.

Once we left Australia and New Zealand our ship made it's long trek across the Pacific Ocean. We crossed the international date line and the equator.

We went to Fiji, Tahiti and Moorea followed by Honolulu for 2 days. The people and the culture of the South Pacific is so friendly and kind. The landscapes are beautiful and the clear waters to swim. Oh my, you can't believe it unless you see it.

We did stay one night in an overwater bungalow. Our bungalow had a glass square in the floor to watch the fish below. It was like an aquarium! We snorkeled right from our bunglalow. Simply amazing.

Moorea is absolutely beautiful. We saw the mountain that was featured in Bali Hai. I purchased a real flower crown to wear for our balcony dinner at sunset. Oh so memorable! If your ship offers a balcony dinner, do it!

While my cruise is over and commited to my long term memory, I hope you too will plan a cruise to a destination that is new and different. The sights and flavors are also amazing when traveling abroad. We often make a point of trying local food, beer or wine - it simply adds to the experience.
