Howdy, folks! And happy Monday! Hope that you had a great weekend. I spend it eating a world famous cinnamon roll the size of my head,

buying vintage salt and pepper shakers,

and maaaaaybe having a ghostly encounter...?

So, my sister and I were in an antique mall on Saturday. It was in this hundred-year-old building in an historic district. We're goofing around, oooing and ahhing over all the finds and ridiculous items we're spotting. I believe we had just mocked a rather fetching wig. Meaning, it looked like a dog had gone and fetched it.

So, I'm engrossed with something on the shelf when I feel someone tap me three times on the back. Take your finger, tap your arm three times insistently, and that's what it felt like. I turn, thinking she's doing that joke where you tap someone on the shoulder to get them to turn the other direction. But there's no one there. And she's yards away with both her hands full. And the rest of the rom is empty. I guess the ghost of proprietors past did not approve of our shenanigans. Apologies, my good sir.

And I guess the moral of the story is, if you want to have a paranormal encounter, forget the haunted houses. Be obnoxious next to a wig that looks like death warmed over. Because it just might be.
