February Theatrical Happenings

Hello, Gentle Readers!
I hope that you are gearing up for a fantastic weekend wherever you are! We're experiencing some lovely springtime weather, but it isn't just the flowers that are popping! No, my friends, as the theatre world has returned back to life, it's been a cornucopia of opportunities, and I'm here to share them with you!
First and foremost, my play Working for Crumbs (formerly BureauCRAZY) is going up in London in April! IN LONDON!! I KNOW! And not just any ol' production... We've got the AD of Moulin Rouge! directing it, the producer of the West End's Showstopper! the Improvised Musical producing it, and even the theatre, The Space, lists Sir Ian McKellen as its patron. The cast is about to be announced, so stalk this space!
But guess what? You don't have to suffer from FOMO! February 16, they are going to do a livestream launch of The Space season, including a five-minute excerpt from the show! Tickets are FREE! And then you can come and see the show and/or watch the livestream on May 6! Tickets are on sale now!
However, if you're in Tennessee, you can actually see a live production in person at Freed-Hardeman University on the Loyd Backstage
February 21, 23, 25, 7 pm
February 25, 2 pm
158 East Main Street
Henderson, TN 38340
Ooooh... you thought that was all... Well, you are sorely mistaken, my friend!
If you are in Pasadena, CA, Parson's Nose Productions is doing a reading of my play Building Madness. It stars one of my old acting buddies, James Calvert, and he is going to be a laugh riot! If you're not familiar with Parson's Nose, they do classic plays that have been forgotten from the theatrical cannon. They just started an online podcast of their performances and it is worth it to give them a listen.
And if you are in Birmingham, AL, my one-act play Late Shift is getting its world premiere at the Encore Theatre and Gallery as an immersive dining experience at Michael's Restaurant. This is a fundraiser to help the Encore keep its doors open and continue its important work, so please grab a ticket and go if you can!
Even more shows are coming in March, but it's a lot for one email (and some of them haven't been announced). Hop on over to my News page and look around for information on all the upcoming fun! And if you happen to catch a show, please reply to this newsletter and let me know what you thought!
That's it for all! Many thanks to everyone who hung in there. May your Valentine's candy overfloweth!
