One of the things I never would have expected from lockdown is the way that theatre pivoted to survive. And one of the really incredible gifts was the way that artists hopped onto Zoom to create international connections and creations.

I, personally, experienced this as I signed up for an online artistic group about a year ago called The Director's Cut out of the UK. Suddenly half-a-globe away, I was working with an ensemble of incredibly talented artists and was exposed to new ways of thinking and different world views. Working with a repertory of directors and writers, they produced my little shorts Socks, Old-Fashioned Girl, and Killer Dating scene.

But this term, I signed up for a filmmaking focused cohort, and we created a three-part webseries called SOS. We decided to take a shared event and then write three episodes connected to and inspired by it. Collaborating across the ocean, my group and I put together the first episode, Stay Outta Sight.

So as you're sitting here today, flipping through ye olde Netflix wondering what to watch, I thought I'd share our little webseries. Happy viewing!
