Well, after a wonderful stint in Kindle Unlimited as an Amazon exclusive, I'm pleased to announce that Olde Robin Hood is now widely available at all your favorite retailers!

To which you might be saying to yourself, "Robin Hood, eh? I feel like I know this story."

So, this whole book began because of the adage, "Write what you love." I loved the Robin Hood stories (or so I thought) and was living in New York, hanging out at this medieval museum called The Cloisters. In the giftshop, I picked up a book about King John. And right there in the first chapter was this little sentence:

And my mind was blown. I suddenly had to know if he wasn't alive during King John's reign, when was he alive? And this began a journey to untangle the history of a man whose stories were not written down for almost two hundred years after he died. I went back to the original ballads that survived and tried to piece them together with the historical information I found to create a cohesive story about what we do know about his life. All the while, I was focused on the question: What kind of life causes people to remember a peasant eight hundred years after their death?
