,
Thank you for staying connected with us!
I'm thrilled to invite you to an exclusive workshop that might just change how you think about meditation forever.
Did you know that most people misunderstand what meditation is actually supposed to do? (Hint: it's not about emptying your mind or forcing yourself to be calm.)
This 2-hour experiential workshop cuts through the myths and goes straight to what works—combining cutting-edge neuroscience with techniques refined through a decade of practice.
You'll discover:
- Why "stopping your thoughts" is impossible (and what to do instead)
- How your body—not your mind—holds the key to effective meditation
- Trauma-informed approaches that make meditation accessible for everyone
- Practical techniques to navigate discomfort and boredom during practice
- The science behind co-regulation and creating safety in your nervous system
Whether you're a complete beginner or a wellness professional looking to deepen your understanding, Daphne Meyer (Clinical Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher) has designed this workshop with you in mind.
Important note: Spaces are filling quickly. We're keeping this workshop intentionally small to ensure everyone gets personalized attention.
We've partnered with the beautiful, Green Room Yoga to host this event.

About Daphne:
Daphne is a clinical counsellor and community educator working in Richmond BC for the past five years. She is passionate about her dual role in the Complex Care Program, as psychotherapist, while leading and developing workshops on topics of neurodiversity needs in schools, and mindfulness and mental health for counsellors and social service workers. With over a decade of personal meditation practice, including Vipassana 10-day silent retreats, she has learned the value of practicing what you preach. The opportunity to complete her 200-hour Yoga Teacher training with Karma Teachers, only deepened her appreciation for the practice and widened her skill-set in somatic based healings. She is trained in EMDR, MBSR, and will complete her IFS training this spring. Daphne is a strong advocate for play outside of the office, and can be found snowboarding, singing in her community choir, backpacking when possible, and making the most of whatever the season has to offer.
