THE TIME HAS COME
TOMORROW! LIVE SHOW AT THE RED CLAY MUSIC FOUNDRY
ABOUT TOMORROW NIGHT
I've been looking forward to tomorrow for some time, and to me it is the beginning of a long-term project where the goal is to find and connect a new audience in a meaningful way, with new songs forthcoming in the month and year ahead, and new content projects both live and online.
Tomorrow night's performance is, in part a celebration of the first single I've released in long time "We Might Be Able" a song that found me on a surprisingly resonant miniature acoustic guitar in Johnny Cash's Cabin studio, and which I'm very proud of.
In another sense, tomorrow's show is simply an opportunity for me to play songs for you that I love, in a way that I love, on a stage that I love.
You'll be invited in close - playing alone, and for a small audience very much a tight-rope act. There's no band to hide behind, and no way to cover your mistakes...I can't wait!
Our host is Eddie Owens (formerly of Eddie's Attic fame) and I often think of him as the Patron Saint of Songwriters. You won't find a more highly-regarded Patron or venue anywhere on the Atlanta music scene.
A quick reminder of what to expect...
- Your first drink is on me.
- An hour plus of my favorite originals & thoughtfully selected covers.
- Intimate seating (chairs provided) on stage around the piano(s).
- World class sound and stage lighting in a world class venue.

YOU SHOULD HEAR THIS....
"PIN IT DOWN" by Madison Cunningham
Refreshingly and creatively musical...
Everything I want in a pop song - rhythm, melody, tone.
And it's catchy without being boring. Loving it!

LYRICS ON MY MIND
This song makes no sense, and I love that! If you've never heard Lyle Lovett's whimsical "If I Had A Boat" click on the title and enjoy.
And if I were like lightning
I wouldn't need no sneakers
I'd come and go wherever I would please
And I'd scare 'em by the shade tree
And I'd scare 'em by the light pole
But I would not scare my pony on my boat out on the sea
---
And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
I said me upon my pony on my boat
-Lyle Lovet, "If I Had A Boat" (third verse & third chorus)
