-Book Deal: Kiste collection-
We are beyond thrilled to announce that we’ve signed a deal to publish Gwendolyn Kiste‘s short story collection The Haunted Houses She Calls Her Own. This landmark collection is a legacy book that exemplifies Kiste’s impact on modern literature and in particular the horror genre. The collection includes her Bram Stoker Award winning story “The Eight People Who Murdered Me (Excerpt from Lucy Westenra’s Diary)” as well as several stories that have been previously unpublished. It will be released in Spring 2026.
-Just Launched-
Today something crawled out of the swamp and now lurks in a dark corner. Blood Cypress was on several most-anticipated lists and got a great review from Publishers Weekly: "Broadbent brings this warped novella to a close with a series of stunning final twists—including a devastating reveal about who is narrating the story. This is coming-of-age fiction at its creepiest."
We were able to pre-launch the book at AuthorCon and still have a few signed copies in stock!

-Fever Dreams starred review
We were very pleased to find out that Library Journal recognized Pedro Iniguez' collection with a star: "The stories explore borders—between countries, people, worlds, life, and death…In this collection, Iniguez reminds his readers that monsters are real, but the nature of those monsters flows and changes, just as in these stories."
-Black Cranes - Parallax Award -
We were surprised and pleased to see that the Black Cranes anthology has been recognized by the Carl Brandon society, making the Honors List for the Parallax Award while Elaine Cuyegkeng’s story from the anthology, “The Genetic Alchemist’s Daughter,” has received the Parallax Award in the short form category. Read more about the award here.
