Today is release day for Demo Reels and Arthouse Madness. It's a collision between poetry and horror film that makes a red carpet the perfect choice.

“Like a seafaring Sigourney Weaver—which is one of a whole book of on-point references in here—Vince Liaguno sails out into the turbid, frothy waters of horror, and what he comes back with are these poems, which we can all feast on.”—Stephen Graham Jones, award-winning author of I Was a Teenage Slasher

-Eugen Bacon Receives Otherwise Fellowship-

The Otherwise Fellowship is an award that supports emerging creators in the field of speculative fiction. It is awarded to creators who are exploring and expanding our understanding of gender through their work and focuses on underrepresented voices. Bacon comments, “I am deeply moved to find myself in this stimulating space of engaging with difference—our world as we know it needs it now more than ever. It’s my hope that readers and publishers will consciously choose to be part of rewarding quality in enabling literature that truly makes a worthy contribution in the characters and themes, such as tradition, belonging, gender, climate action, the ‘other’, betwixt, unlimited futures… it spotlights.” Read more about the fellowship here.
