From Snow Available on Kindle Vella!

I did another thing...
I wrote a holiday story called From Snow. I kind of like holiday stories and movies. In fact, it might be fair to say that I don't much want to watch anything except themed shows during the month of December. But I didn't really think that I'd write my own holiday story.
And then Gretchen (a character who's been interesting to me since I introduced her and she became Macie's friend in From Gunpowder) was just begging to have her own story told. I knew it was going to have snow, and then, well, if you have snow, you should also have Christmas, right?
I must admit that it breaks a few of the Christmas story rules. It starts late summer, not early December. There's no ski lodge or Northeastern town. Not a single coffee shop needs saving from a big corporation in the making of this Christmas story (not that there's anything wrong with little shops in need of saving...).
But there is an old house that needs fixing. There is an unexpected snow storm (in the South--and if you've ever seen even a moderate amount of snow in the South, you know that a snow storm would take those folks OUT). And there's a guy who's good at fixing houses. He's pretty okay looking too, as you might imagine:).
But Gretchen's done her time in rural Kentucky, and she's not about to have an old house, or a hot handyman, draw her back to it.
Sounds fun, huh?
I'm releasing it to Kindle Vella episode by episode before Christmas (which is a surprisingly fun way to tell a Christmas story). It's also kind of a fun way to read a Christmas story--one episode (or scene) at a time. Like a story advent calendar! Just that little bit of story chocolate every day.
