Kickstarter Flash Goal!
May 13, 2024 8:05 pm
Am I going to do an annoying number of Kickstarter emails?
I mean, hopefully NOT. But I am going to be sending a few more than normal (probably 1-2 a week). If it bugs you (I hope it doesn't bug you), please know that it won't last long.
I did want to touch base today to say that the Kickstarter is going well!
Today it crested $1000. That means we hit the funding goal and the first stretch goal. A stretch goal is an extra milestone and it comes with an extra perk. One of the fun things about Kickstarter is that the more money it makes, the more bells and whistles get added (without individual backers having to put more money towards it)! You just keep getting more fun stuff!
Our next stretch goal is at $1500. At that point, we'll get a map of the park added to each book. I've been talking to Jason who is the artist at Queen's Cove Creative and I have all my fingers crossed that we pass this threshold this week because the map will be so cool!!!
To encourage backers, I've added a "flash goal" this week. A flash goal is a perk for people who back before a certain time. That means that anyone who backs by midnight on Sunday will also get a recipe card added to their order. Just for free and funsies.
I'm trying to decide between a cookie recipe and an ice cream recipe. Both are places where the kids go to find puzzle pieces in the story.
If you've got a vote for which one--cookie or ice cream--respond to this email.
Also... Back my Kickstarter!
And... get a free recipe card with your book!!!
