Hello, dear backers!

I'm emailing you instead of posting a Kickstarter update just in case this has better luck making it into your inbox.

Now that I have a new laptop, we're back in business! The hope is to record the short story audiobook next week before heading off to the Midwest for Thanksgiving.

In more relevant news, we're at 80% completion on the survey! Thanks to all of you who have already filled it out.

If you haven't filled out the survey, check your inbox for an email from PledgeBox and fill that out when you can.

Without the information that survey gathers, we can't deliver your rewards or put you in the acknowledgments, so it's important you fill it out!

In other news, Peng Lu is very nearly finished with his illustration - and boy, is it gorgeous. I expect to have that available to share next week!

Daniel was making good progress on the other artwork, but no indication yet when it'll be complete. For the new map, Keir has started on it, but I don't have any progress reports on it yet.

We did get new header icons from Rachel, however! These only appear a few places in the book, but I think they're quite fun when they show up.

I also wanted to give you a heads up that I'll be announcing my next Kickstarter campaign (for a different series, Ranger of the Titan Wilds) on Tuesday. Never fear, it won't interfere with our progress on this one - I'm not launching it until January, which should be after we have most of these parts ready for printing and production. At that point, it's more or less a waiting game anyway!
