Fall Reads Recommendations

The Accidental Alchemist, by Gigi Pandian (book 1 in the series of the same name) is a paranormal mystery featuring a 300-ish-year-old American woman and a French gargoyle who was accidentally brought to life. The characters are delightful, and they'll appeal to anyone who's ever felt like a misfit who doesn't belong. Here's the link to my review.

I've scored an advance reader's copy of the Christian suspense collection, Don't Blink. Having read most of the stories by now, I'm confident to recommend it. Some are thriller level, some are suspense, some are mysteries. All are worth reading. Check out the link below to lock in the preorder price. I expect the price will go up on release day (October 7). Current price: $4.99 CAD / $2.99 USD (I didn't check the other countries' prices.)

Ebook reader with cover: Don't Blink: 12 Inspirational suspense thrillers. Plus smaller images of each included book.

Don't Blink buy link: https://books2read.com/dontblink/. (Or click on the image above.) You can choose Apple, Kindle, Nook, or Kobo.

Canadian subscribers, if you (like me) are watching for ways to shop Canadian, please note that Kobo is a “made in Canada” company (although it’s now a subsidiary of Rakuten, a Japanese company). Here’s a Wikipedia link for details about Kobo.

Bonus perk for Canadians shopping Kobo: we earn rewards points, which Amazon.ca have not yet rolled out to us. As with other e-reader apps, the Kobo app is free for your phone or tablet.

What’s happening with my Green Dory Inn series?

Book 5 still has no title, but the plot and characters are humming along. It's been weird writing about winter during the summer. My goal (please pray I can hit it) is to finish this first draft by year-end with a view to a fall 2026 release.

Until next time...

Wherever this finds you, thank you for opening my email and I wish you a lovely week with some time for a good book.

Until next time,
